It’s sad, but true that many of the chemicals we put in our natural grass yards to kill weeds, bugs and to encourage grass growth runs off into our streams, rivers and eventually our water supply. Millions of dollars are spent each year trying eliminate these harmful chemicals so our water supply will be safe. Many of these chemicals could be eliminated from runoffs if we would use more artificial turf to replace traditional grass. Not only is artificial turf low maintenance, it remains beautiful all year long for many years — and without the use of harmful chemicals. That’s not only saving money — but also helping to save our environment.
